2026 Heartland Convergence - The CUtting Edge of Convergence Prayer points
A Regional Watchman Assignment for the Heartland Assembly
“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or
night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He
establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
— Isaiah 62:6–7
Prayer Assignment Period: March 16 – June 11, 2026
The Cutting Edge of Convergence – Regional Gathering • June
11–13, 2026Introduction: Locking Shields in Prayer
Across the Heartland, intercessors are being called to stand together in this moment of time. Like
soldiers who lock shields in battle, we come into agreement in prayer—watchmen standing together
upon the walls. This is informed intercession. We pray with awareness of the moment we are living in
and the assignment before us. The Lord is summoning watchmen to take their place not only for a
gathering, but for the fullness of the time we are in. Throughout this assignment, the entirety of Isaiah
62 can serve as a prayer template for our mission. As watchmen read and meditate upon this chapter,
we believe the Holy Spirit will highlight specific phrases and reveal insight into how we are to pray and
advance the Lord’s purposes over this region. In this way, intercessors are not merely following a
guide, but partnering with the Spirit of God as He establishes His covering and causes His Church to
become a praise in the earth. When watchmen unite in prayer, the atmosphere shifts. When watchmen
stand in agreement, the spiritual climate of a region can change.
Watchman Identity – The Cutting Edge
Watchmen stand on the walls spiritually. They discern the times, refuse silence, and prepare the gates
for what God intends to do. For the Heartland Assembly, intercessors are the cutting edge of
convergence. A blade must remain sharp to function effectively. In the same way, watchmen keep the
spiritual environment sharp through prayer, discernment, humility, and unity.

Finishing the Assignment
For three months watchmen have stood faithfully upon the walls. Prayers have been lifted, stones
removed, strongholds confronted, and the way of the Lord prepared. Every prayer offered and every
declaration spoken has been purposeful. Now we finish strong and declare together: Mission
accomplished. The gates are open. The way is prepared. Let the King of Glory come in.
Final Watchman Decree
Lift up your heads, O gates! Be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. The Lord
strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. The Lord of hosts—He is the King of Glory. (Psalm
24:7–10)
