2025 Convergence Targeted Prayer Points
For the prayer initiative leading up to the “Kingdom Convergence Conference,” here are some prayer points inspired by Ezra and Nehemiah, focusing on transitioning from a Babylonian mindset to a Kingdom age:
One of the things to remember about Babylon was they were pluralistic not singular. Meaning Babylon had multiple ways to build, grow, focus and multiple models and images… whereas Kingdom is singular, ONE GOD, ONE SPIRIT, ONE BODY AND ONE IMAGE.
So the intercessors will need to target multiple images (ideas, denominations, expressions) to pull them down in the Spirit and to exalt and build up the one true image of Christ. The targeted intercession in the spirit is a big deal in weakening air superiority and setting and establishing Christ and Holy Spirit as the ONE TRUE TERRITORIAL SPIRIT OVER THE REGION.
The following prayer initiatives cover a wide range of areas that need attention and can expand and lead to deeper focus as the Spirit leads.
1. Restoration of Kingdom Identity
• Pray that the church in the region awakens to its Kingdom identity, moving away from the Babylonian age of confusion and captivity.
• Ask for a deep understanding of the Kingdom of God and the fullness of what it means to be sons and daughters of the King.
• Pray that the region would be aligned with Heaven’s agenda and purpose, shedding any patterns of compromise or worldly influence.
2. Rebuilding the Spiritual Walls
• Like Nehemiah, pray for the walls of righteousness to be restored around the region. Ask for strong spiritual protection over families, churches, and communities.
• Intercede for the rebuilding of areas in the church that have been broken down—whether it’s unity, holiness, or spiritual authority.
• Pray for a renewed commitment to covenant faithfulness, standing firm in the truth and power of the Word of God.
3. Unity and Alignment of Leaders (Fivefold Ministry)
• Pray for the fivefold leaders (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers) to come together in unity and alignment, reflecting the Ephesians 4 model of leadership.
• Ask for humility and collaboration among leaders, that they would focus on equipping the saints rather than building personal platforms.
• Pray for each leader to function in their unique role while being part of a unified body, honoring and strengthening one another.
4. Breaking Off Babylonian Systems and Mindsets
• Intercede for the breaking off of Babylonian systems that promote division, individualism, and self-sufficiency.
• Pray that people and leaders would be delivered from mindsets that prioritize worldly success, control, or fear, and that they would embrace Kingdom culture—servanthood, trust in God, and unity.
• Ask God to expose and dismantle anything that hinders the church from fully advancing His Kingdom.
5. Renewal and Repentance (Ezra’s Call to Holiness)
• Following Ezra’s example, pray for a spirit of repentance to fall on the region, especially among leaders, to return to God’s standards of holiness.
• Intercede for a cleansing and purifying of the church, that it would be set apart from the world and operate in power and purity.
• Ask for God’s mercy and grace to bring renewal, refreshing the hearts of leaders and believers alike.
6. Equipping the Saints for Ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13)
• Pray for the equipping of the saints as leaders gather, that the body of Christ would be strengthened and empowered to do the work of ministry.
• Intercede for the saints to be raised up in their callings and anointed to step into new assignments with boldness.
• Pray that the conference would not just be a gathering of leaders but a launching of ministries and movements across the region, equipped to expand the Kingdom.
7. Favor and Open Doors
• Pray for favor with governmental and societal leaders, that the church would have open doors to influence and impact the region.
• Like Nehemiah had favor with King Artaxerxes, ask God to give divine favor to leaders for provision, resources, and partnerships to carry out the vision.
• Pray for open heavens over the region, that spiritual breakthrough and harvest would follow as Kingdom principles are embraced.
8. Protection and Strength for the Workers (Nehemiah 4:9, 16-18)
• Pray for protection over the leaders and intercessors as they engage in spiritual warfare, that they would not grow weary or discouraged.
• Ask for divine strategies and spiritual strength for the work of building the Kingdom in this region.
• Pray for watchmen to be set in place, both in the spirit and in the natural, to cover and guard the work of the Lord.
These prayer points can help focus the intercessors in the weeks and months leading up to the Kingdom Convergence Conference, paving the way for a powerful move of God in the region.
